Congratulations to Gabriel Sarasol from Mitchelton who is the Total Compression BPL Player of the Month for August.
Sarasol impressed the judging panel after embracing a change in position in the Mustangs starting eleven, playing a vital role in their late season form including scoring the winning goal in the Canale Cup Final.
The 26 year old came to Brisbane at the start of the season from his native Spain, most recently at that country’s fourth tier club UD Alzira.
With height on his side measuring in at exactly six feet, one of his most worthwhile qualities is a good header of the ball. Add that to his versatility in being able to play in defence and midfield and it provides further proof as to why he has been a player to watch in the Brisbane Premier League this season.
Sarasol will need to continue his rich vein of form to keep his Mitchelton side in the Grand Final hunt. After a loss to Lions over the weekend, it’s now sudden death for the Mustangs when they host Holland Park Hawks in Saturday night’s Preliminary Final at Terralba Park.
From everyone at QSN and Total Compression, congratulations Gabriel on your award.
