It was looking like at one point in the first half that Olympic would end The Gap’s undefeated run when Kirsten Jamieson put her side 2-0 up midway through the first half but a spirited comeback that saw Eden Jones and Ruth Blackburn square up the ledger at 2-2 by halftime.

Second half goals to Greta Bodey and a controversial penalty converted by Megan Price ensured a perfect season to The Gap in a 4-2 victory.



Another Premiership winning side that launched a comeback were Lions. Up 1-0 at the break via Josh McVey, Mitchelton were overwhelmed by Lions in the 2nd period with Sekou Jomanday claiming a double and Ajdin Fetahagic giving their side a 3-1 lead going into stoppage time. Gab Sarasol bobbed up for a late consolation for the Mustangs but Lions booked their second consecutive Grand Final appearance in a 3-2 win.

Mitchelton will host Holland Park Hawks in next week’s do or die Preliminary Final.


Tarragindi have overcome Jimboomba 4-0 in the elimination semi. Tarragindi will travel to Virginia for the Preliminary Final.


Caboolture ensured it would be a clean sweep of the 2nd placed teams in the Capital Leagues going straight through to the Grand Final in a 3-0 win over St George Willawong. Ben Muzyka with a double and Steven Cleary the scorers.

St George Willawong will host Samford in next weekend’s Preliminary Final.
