Sunshine Coast Fire pushed further up the table after a 1-0 win over Brisbane Roar. Paul Mikula was both sinner and saint, scoring a penalty in the 80th minute before being sent off shortly after.
Moreton Bay were on track to collect all three points after scoring in the first minute after the halftime break but Gold Coast City scored in the 87th minute to thwart that expectation, both sides sharing the spoils in a 1-1 result.
BRISBANE PREMIER LEAGUE
Ipswich Knights were doing it comfortably, 3-0 up with ten minutes to play but two late North Pine goals gave them a fright. The Knights picking up their second win of the season in a 3-2 victory while North Pine remain at the bottom of the table.
Mitchelton had a 1-0 lead at halftime and extended that out in the second half to a 4-2 win over UQFC to move into third place on the ladder.
