Top clubs have interesting FFA Cup trips

The Round Three FFA Cup draw for this Brisbane zone has been conducted throwing up some interesting ties amongst the twenty games that will take place.

Premier League clubs and the seven remaining Capital One clubs entered the draw for the first time, joining the twenty-one winners from the previous round.

The top two Brisbane Premier League clubs will travel to Capital Three opponents. Lions will have a long midweek trip to Narangba while Easts will have a shorter trip but will up against a small and tricky Esher Street pitch in their match against Tarragindi Tigers.

Two games look like potential banana skin matches for Premier League clubs with Peninsula hosting Brisbane Knights and Bayside travelling to Rochedale.

One game still remains outstanding from round two with Grange Thistle to play Caboolture on Monday night, the winner going onto meet Annerley in round three.

There are very few all-Brisbane Premier League matchups but one that will take place is the derby between near neighbours North Pine and Albany Creek.

The full draw is as follows. Matches will be conducted between 1-3 March and 8-10 March.
