GOLD COAST PREMIER LEAGUE

After scores were locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes, penalties would be required to sort a winner in the Grand Final in another epic edition of the Magic United v Broadbeach rivalry. Magic United prevailed in the shootout 4-3 to collect the Premiership-Grand Final double.

CENTRAL QUEENSLAND PREMIER LEAGUE

Congratulations to Frenchville who are the 2015 Grand Final winners in a high-scoring affair to defeat Clinton 5-2.

FNQ PREMIER LEAGUE

Mareeba are back-to-back Grand Final winners after defeating their arch-rivals Stratford 3-2.

BRISBANE – CAPITAL 3

Toowong have come from third place at the end of the regular season to claim a tight 1-0 win against New Farm in the season decider. Here’s the full match report. Reserve Grade also went to Toowong 4-1, here’s the match report for that one.

It took a few attempts but Bardon Latrobe were finally able to overcome Mooroondu when it mattered, taking their Grand Final 2-1.

NPL NATIONAL FINALS SERIES

Goals to Charles Mendy, Jackson Hall and Jordan Farina has seen Moreton Bay Jets progress to the next round after a 3-1 defeat of Northern NSW’s Edgeworth Eagles.

BRISBANE ROAR PRE-SEASON

A commanding performance from the A-League club as they easily accounted for the NPL Queensland Under 23 All-Stars 8-0. Scorers were Steven Lustica with a hat-trick, Jean-Carlos Solorzano, Brandon Borrello, Jerome Polenz, Dimitri Petratos, Jack Hingert.
