Olympic and Palm Beach have fought out a scoreless draw. Olympic dominated the match in the key stats but were unable to turn that into goals on the scoreboard.

Where do we start with this one! How about the full-time score which was 3-1 Lions way.

Peninsula opened the scoring on 14 minutes before Lions equalised through an Andre Bonotto penalty shortly before the half hour and that’s when things started turning a little weird.

Peninsula’s McEvoy (sorry, not sure which one) was sent off minutes after Lions equalised. That incident saw Kado Aoci leaving the field on a stretcher. Moments later, Lions were also reduced to ten men after Shoheel Khan was given his marching orders.

Further drama five minutes after the halftime break when Peninsula had to make do with nine men for the remainder of the match as Shaun Feuerriegel was red-carded.

The numerical advantage finally paid off for Lions with Bonotto converting another penalty to make it 2-1 on the stroke of 90 minutes. The Brazilian then brought up his hat-trick in stoppage time with Shaun Carlos providing the assist.
