Greer returns after a stint at Kaya FC in the Philippines United Football League First Division, the highest tier of football in that country. He was a well-respected player during his time at the club, also becoming an academy coach. Announcing his departure on their website, the club stated that he ‘presented a commendable attitude toward the game and everyone involved with the club…. he distinguished himself as a player who is passionate about youth development and he grabbed the opportunity to pass down his knowledge to his students without hesitation but with utmost enthusiasm and dedication.’

The midfielder was nominated for the United Football League’s 2015 ‘Rest of the World All-Stars’ team voted on by supporters but fell short of making the final eleven.

Playing 19 games for Logan in 2013, including four in the Canale Cup where Lightning made the final that year, he scored two goals after a mid-season shift from the NPL’s Olympic. Greer also spent time at the now-defunct A-League’s Gold Coast United but did not step onto the park for the club due to an unfortunate run of injury.
