1. MACKAY

Wanderers stay top of ladder in the Mackay Premier League without even playing a game as Magpies and Crusaders score big wins over their opposition on the weekend. Noted goal scorer, Michael Lyell, again was on the scoresheet for Magpies in their 6-1 win over Lions while Crusaders defeated Country United 5-1. City Brothers forfeited to Wanderers.

2. CENTRAL QUEENSLAND

Frenchville suffered a 2-0 defeat to Gladstone rivals, Clinton on Saturday night but they aren’t too concerned ahead of next month’s FFA Cup clash against Mackay Premier League club, Whitsunday.

3. BRISBANE – CAPITAL 2

Western Spirit are looking to keep their top four hopes alive and the 1-1 draw with Centenary Stormers on Friday night kept that dream alive. Spirit coach Nick Paterson assessing that the result of how the match panned out.

5. NPL QUEENSLAND

Western Pride player, Lincoln Rule, provided a positive verdict on his side’s 2-2 draw with FNQ Heat in Cairns on Saturday night. Rule’s goal providing the equaliser for the Pride who took some motivation out of their last minute loss in the FFA Cup to Ipswich Knights last Wednesday night.

After suffering successive losses, Willowburn collected their first points since round one in their 3-1 win over St Albans to take confidence into their FFA Cup clash on Wednesday night against West Wanderers.

7. FFA CUP

Northern Fury have had their entry into the FFA Cup determined, meeting North Queensland Premier League side, Townsville Warriors at Brolga Park on Wednesday May 13 with a 7pm kickoff.

8. NPL QUEENSLAND WOMENS
