Sunshine Coast looked to have their match wrapped up with around ten minutes to play but Redlands had other ideas with two late goals to keep things interesting but ultimately the Fire prevailed 3-2 at the Cleveland Showgrounds.

Three second half goals to Justyn McKay in the 51st, Florian Matk in the 71st and Ethan Grimley in stoppage time sees Palm Beach return to winning ways with a 3-0 win in Toowoomba over SWQ Thunder. Match report link

FNQ Heat will rue what could have been. Two goals up thanks to goals from Jamie Carroll 40′ and Chris O’Hare 68′, Western Pride replied through Peter Drager 80′ and Lincoln Rule 86′ (pen) as the game ended in a 2-2 draw. O’Hare and Ethan Docherty sent off for the Heat.

Upset of the weekend as Wolves took away a 3-0 victory at home to Albany Creek.

A goal to Jared Austin ten minutes from the halftime break was enough for Power to bag three points away from home at Rochedale with a 1-0 win.

Mitchelton left most of their goal scoring until late, defeating UQFC 4-0. Paul Swithenbank 10′, Paul Mikula 76′ (pen), Cameron Darkwah 83′, Jackson Stubbins 87′ the scorers.

Two early goals to Ramone Close were enough for Easts to get a confidence-boosting win at Capalaba 2-0. Close scoring on 14′ and 17′.
